If you head on over to Amazon they have a ten minute ‘phone interview with Joss as part of the promotion for the release of the new Collectors Edition of Serenity due out later this month, it’s well worth a listen.

Joss reveals some more information as to what we can look forward to in this version, it seems that the additional commentary is actually going to be screen-in-screen rather than just audio, so we will get to see some of our Big Damn Heroes again!

It is provided as a download .wma file so make sure you have a suitable player installed.

Universal HD

Would you like to see ‘Firefly’ as you have never seen it before, in High Definition?

Well you can this July if you have the cable television network Universal HD. Unfortunately I don’t. They have also opened up a webpage and message board to mark the event.

Lets hope that this means that at some point we will get to see a Hi-Def version of ‘Firefly’ on DVD. Wouldn’t that be just shiny?

First Look: Terminator Returns in Sarah Connor Chronicles

Cameron is played by Summer Glau of “Firefly” and “Serenity” sci-fi fame and she’s the best thing in the show. Joss Whedon fans interested in “Buffy” – style grrl power will find plenty to admire. Those who like their action spiked with the occasional wisecrack will have to wait and see if this earnest series starts taking itself a little less seriously as the season progresses.
