Dark Horse have kindly allowed us fans to get a preview of #6 in the on-going “Buffy Season 8″ comics by putting the first six pages online.

These have previously been seen in black and white as a pirated scan from Comic-Con, but they are now officially available from the publishers themselves in full colour.

This issue is the first part of Brian K. Vaughan’s “No Future For You”, a story arc for the Slayer Faith.

Club about his current and upcoming comics projects, his film project Goners, the status of Serenity, why spoilers are ruining our culture, and his much-publicized work on—and break from—the Wonder Woman film project

If you head on over to Amazon they have a ten minute ‘phone interview with Joss as part of the promotion for the release of the new Collectors Edition of Serenity due out later this month, it’s well worth a listen.

Joss reveals some more information as to what we can look forward to in this version, it seems that the additional commentary is actually going to be screen-in-screen rather than just audio, so we will get to see some of our Big Damn Heroes again!

According to TV Squad and their report from San Diego’s ComicCon, Joss has reported that negotiations are almost complete with the BBC to make a 90 minute special of the long-awaited “Ripper”, starring my favourite watcher, Anthony Stewart Head.

There is plenty of other Joss news reported, but this was the one that got my attention. Also check out the Whedon ballet starring Summer Glau.

Since Fox were kind enough to finally allow ‘Drive’ fans to see the last two filmed episodes of the series online it seems a shame that only those in the US can watch them.
There are of course slightly illegal means of seeing them via non official channels, which is a very bad thing to do and so I would in no way encourage you to click this link, which is solely provided to warn fans of the heinous crime being committed! I am sure none of us would like to see Fox lose out on any revenue from this Emmy nominated show that they only canceled after first giving it a fair run of 10 days.

Well, after canceling the show and postponing the last two filmed episodes (twice!) Fox are now saying that they will make them available online.

At the moment the plan is to make them available through “FOX On Demand”, the same as the four previously aired episodes.

Lets hope they come through this time!

If, like me, you have been waiting to hear something from Tim Minear about his canceled TV show “Drive”, wait no longer! Over at DriveFans.com Jackal has posted an interview with Tim and Craig Silverstein (executive producer).

With Drive pre-maturely cancelled, we took the opportunity to catch up with executive producers Tim Minear and Craig Silverstein about what would have happened had the series continued.

The good folk over at Serenity Stuff.Com have posted all the entries to their “Sing-A-Song Of Saffron” competition, and there is some really great stuff to listen to. I had a hard job picking my three faves, but I managed to make my mind up eventually!

Special mentions for Marian Call, Satori and Heather Ackroyd. But don’t take my word for it, go check them out for yourselves and choose your favourites.

Well it may not come as much of a surprise to those that are familiar with the Fox TV network, but it seems as though after promising to air the last two filmed episodes of “Drive” (first on July 4th then moving it to the 13th) the executives have decided to scrap the whole thing.

You can read more about it over at Whedonesque as it seems that for the moment Fox have removed the announcement from their own site.

Episodes of “Standoff” (Gina Torres) and “Bones” (David Boreanaz) are currently scheduled to air in its place. I guess they know which fan group it is they are upsetting.
